Anyone know what the expected lifespan of a QQ 1.2 clutch is? Google says clutches tend to last 70-90k in general, and mine has done 81k now.

The speed just rises slowly and constantly, regardless of gear, and if I press down on the accelerator it makes no difference to the speed, yet the revs shoot up really high. Classic symptoms of a slipping clutch.

Got it booked in at a recommended local indie for next Wednesday.

How long is a piece of string? Obviously very dependent on one's driving style!

Well yes, that's why you get lots of premature clutch failures.
I mean with decent driving and standard wear and tear, how long do they last in general?

Might not be the clutch of course, but I can't think what else would cause high revs but not give much power when accelerating.
