Hi there, we have a j11b and so far it's been great.

However just this morning, the auto hold Button that we always have on suddenly went off and won't press on again.

There is also a yellow warning light popped up on the dash at the same time. An exclamation mark in brackets.

This happened when we started the car, no weird noises or incidents. Just a bit strange.

Any ideas what could be the issue or how to get it working again?

Cheers.

This suggests you need to visit a local reputable garage for investigation.

Thats an indication of a Brake system problem. As such the Auto Hold will be suspended/disabled. You need a brake system inspection.

It's all sorted....light went off by itself after a few hours.

Auto hold working as it should.

Must have been an electrical glitch or something.

Cheers

J11 2019.

Auto Hold has stopped working as of this morning, the switch lights up as in on and off, but there is no dash display showing it in operation or any warning display as per a previous poster on the topic, any ideas folks?

Cheers.

Thank you for having described the issues, I encountered exactely the same.
The yellow warning light randomly appears at startup then on next it could leave, or the next day then nothing for 2 days...whatever if it is a long/short trip or outside temperature...it is effectively related to the auto-hold break system that doesn't work when light ON.
I would like to understand the root cause, could you explain how you were able to fix it definitively?
