Hi All

Some bar steward keyed my new QQ on NYE. 2 Panels and quoted £500 to redo. Question what about the products like t cut, etc Is there anything I can try myself? I know it won't be perfect but read some good success.....

Any ideas or steps to follow would be great!

If it's gone through the paint to the base coat, no cutting paste like T cut will help.

Can you feel the scratches with your finger nail ?

Autoglym polish has a filler that might help if they are not too deep.
2016 n connector 1.2 xtronic auto ink blue J11
2019 n connector 1.3 dsg auto metallic red J11
2022 Tekna 1.3 xtronic auto ink blue J12

yes gone to under coat, can see the base coat and feel it with my fingernail :-(

Sorry to hear this, I know just how gut wrenching it is. Happened to me on my previous car, I’d not even had it one week!

Depending how bad it is and long, you could try chipex, you certainly won’t make it worse if you go wrong as it can be removed fairly easily before it’s cured. If that doesn’t work, then really it’s a bodyshop job.
