Hi, I am new to this forum. Every time I switch on my new Nissan Qashqai, I get an annoying connections message. Whether I agree or cancel, it still comes up every time I start up.

Welcome to this forum. Others have previously found they can't remove this.

I agree, I’ve just posted the same query, I would have thought they could allow the driver just accept Yes or Decline once and have the system remember it, I’ve only had mine a couple of weeks and find it annoying.

Yep it's a bag of bollocks really having to accept/decline every start up.
The passengers rear seat belt logo showing up for X amount of time needn't happen either, Nissan get an update ASAP to delete these annoying bits of crap info!

That's a big assumption that it's the same driver each time though.

Hardly likely to over exert you tapping the screen is it?

Just crack on tapping the screen and enjoy the car. It's the way that 'connected' cars are going.

I asked Nissan and got the attached reply, also asked about the seatbelt issue that comes up on the display for 30 seconds. No one travels in the back of my car so just useless …

I find that in Terms and Conditions for NissanConnect Services:
"For Nissan systems equipped with an in-vehicle personal profilesfeature, you have the possibility to create
a personal profile which can be secured. In such case, your acceptance to NissanConnect Services Terms
and Conditions can be stored in your Profile and won’t be prompted at the start of a new trip under the
same profile."
It can works?

If it does work then Brin at Nissan Customer Services is a lot better at making up lame excuses than he is at customer service! If these are real people we could be better off with artificial intelligence!

I'll let you know tomorrow!

For the seatbelt warning that stays there for 30 seconds you can either press OK to clear it, or if you keep all rear seatbelts fastened it doesn't show up at all.

For the terms acceptance, has anyone verified what happens if you just ignore it? I know the dialogue box disappears after a short while but what effect does it actually have on the infotainment system that you've neglected to provide an answer?
