Picking up my new e-Power QashQai Tekna on Thursday.

Any tips or tricks that I need to know about and which are folks favourite driving modes, ECO, Sport, EV, E-pedal ETC? or modes that should be avoided.

Do Navigation map updates come via WiFi or dealer supplied SD card?

Does the tailgate open if you wave your foot underneath the rear bumper or is that only on the Tekna+?

Thanks

I find my best mpg comes from B mode with the epedal engaged, driving mostly in rush hour traffic with a short stint on b roads every day.

My Tenka boot opens with a wave of the foot with the key near by. Other than that I'm still learning too.

Map updates come OTA via the inbuilt sim
Tailgate waving works...but better a straight movement at the centre line of the car

If you find steering a bit light you can adjust it in settings to be more sporty.

I've had my new e-Power Tekna now for a couple of days and I must say that I'm impressed, I'm loving the adaptive cruise and Pro Pilot Assist. Audio is fantastic when playing my music library through Apple Car Play, so many other features still to be tried but very pleased so far.

I haven't tried a Qashqai but when I went to the Ariya launch the presenter had problems opening the boot. It does seem to need a particular "fore and aft" manoeuvre not just any old waggle.

.
I find that mine will only open when I do a straight in-out movement in the centre of the bumper

I picked up my new epower Tekna, a couple of days ago Love driving it but the boot opening with your foot Is useless. Most anoying for me is that it has 4 USB ports but does not support playing music from a memory stick which is really annoying, a retrograde step in my opinion. I do not have an iphone and even if I had I do not like Itunes. Other than that a great car but Nissan should look at what customers want/expect not what they think is a good idea. At the momrnt I am relying on just the radio, something I haven't done in a car for over 40 years. It doesn't help that Android auto isn't wireless but google have already made it in car only. I wonder if the answer is a blutooth MP3 player?

Welcome to this forum

Are you sure?

I only have a 2022 Audio Manual but it clearly seems to be allowing USB playing

Alp1304 - book an appointment with your salesperson and ask them to go through the set up process with you.
I believe you have to set the USB stick with a specific operating system (is it fat32) and perhaps less than 16GB ?

Mine (Jan.23 e-power), plays normally the usb stick on the port inside the front armrest.
