Extremely sensitive accelerator pedal!

I have a 2021 QQ Acenta Premium, with DCT automatic box. Been driving it since I bought it February 2023. Only done about 1500 miles so far. In that time, I am finding that every time I set off from a standstill, unless I breath very gently on the pedal, the car shoots off as if it's in a drag race! It's a right bloody pain, I am getting fed up saying sorry to all the passengers as they pull themselves out of the boot! (Theoretically!) My previous QQ was a 2016 Tekna with a Xtronic box (rubber band job) and that behaved very well without any rapid response from the pedal, just a normal acceleration. Before I go back to the dealership and try to swap the car for something else, is there anything that can be done with this problem? I really like the QQ but this baby is just too damn eager to get going!

We have exactly the same problem with a 2020 1.3 Teckna Automatic - very sensitive pedal from rest - did you ever get your problem solved?

Are you sure it's not the autobrake or handbrake holding the car until deactivated by the pedal input?

Good thought thanks - but not that - the accelerator is aggressive even at traffic lights when no handbrake is being used - I wonder if the throttle sensor is faulty or needs reprogramming
