2016 tail light change .

I need to change the LH outer rear light on my 2016 Nissan qashqai . Can anyone tell me please whether these are coded to the car and is going to throw up a fault , many thanks ?

Would I likely have any problems with a non genuine lamp or would it be best to stick to genuine, thanks?
