Hi, I recently purchased a used QQ +2 2013 2.0 4WD 360 CVT model - J10 I believe. It came with a set of floor mats that were just left in the boot. They all seem to be the right size and shape, except for the driver's mat.

The holes seem to be about the right size and position to fit the corresponding posts in the floor, but they won't actually click onto them. No amount of downward pressure will cause the mat to click into place on the posts. I've tried lubricating the post with a little soap, even tried a hammer to tap it into place.

I've attached a few photos: -
Top left - trying to fit hole in mat over post in floor.
Top right - underside of hole in mat
Bottom right - post attached to carpet, slightly soapy in an attempt to lubricate
Bottom left - post protruding through cutout in carpet.

Is there any way I can get this mat to fit? Maybe try to widen the holes slightly, or shave a little off the posts with a craft knife or a file?
Failing that, is there anywhere I can buy just the driver's mat? So far it seems most places only sell a complete set of mats, which is surplus to our requirements.

Side note: One of the floor posts seems to be fixed (glued?) on top of the carpet, while the other is underneath the carpet and protrudes through a cut out hole. The latter has a certain amount of movement, which I guess allows for the fitting of mats that have the holes in a slightly different position, maybe. I would have normally expected them to be both the same, so I'm guessing that at least one of them has been replaced since the car was new.

Thanks, I'll have a look at these. It doesn't sound like it's possible to buy the driver's mat on its own - everyone's selling only a full set.
