Been reading all evening, can't figure out what type I need (seen here that there are 2 types depending on the presence of cruise control).
Garage will fit but won't advise what/where to get it from (airbag light issue), assume still charge for labour if wrong part.

Car is Q+2 2010 2.0 DCI 4WD Tekna with cruise control.

1. Nissan has a single item for this car - https://shop.nissan.co.uk/products/niss ... 8667&_ss=r (also seems to be used in this video - changing it on Qashqai with Cruise Control https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkORCPeFdN0)

2. This item from ebay (2K sales)/same shop here https://www.energizedcustoms.co.uk/prod ... le-2-plugs - lists it as compartible, and apparently 2 cables = for cars with cruise control ?

These look quite different, or both will fit ? What is the other type mentioned in past threads then .. ?

not an expensive part to replace, what i would do is buy both types, and return the one you don`t need when its been to the garage ;-)

Yeah, but I am not confident one of these is right, could be another type too. Why is it so hard to find this information :-/

I have a J10 with cruise control and the squib has two cables (orange+yellow). You can get a good deal off eBay.

i would not use that garage, if they are not capable of ordering the correct part ,let alone fit it. the ebay item andy sent is the same numbers as a clip on youtube fitting the same one to 2010 1.6 petrol j10 i have the video if you want the link.

The garage is the best I found in many years, guess to be sure then needed to take off the steering wheel -> labour.

To clarify you said you had one with two cables ( this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/362378003772 ?) but the item in andy's link = in video = nissan website is a different shape, with 1 cable (?) - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295046566984

Could you confirm which eBay item matches what you had, thanks ?
