2017 J11 oil leak

Hi Everyone,

Gained a lot from this forum in recent weeks. I have had a few problems with my 2017 1.5DCI Qashqai. Started with the usual START STOP fault which I thought had been overcome. Car has just shy of 40k miles

But Last week, as I was driving along, my Aux Belt broke and the car has had an oil leak. I assume (although not sure) that there was oil on the belt previously which caused the break. Anyway, cleaned oil and replaced the belt and car seemed to run OK until yesterday when the leak came back and covered the belt again.

I have car parked up now and not driving it again until someone has seen it. Just wondering if anyone has had the same/similar issues and where it turned out oil was leaking from? Thanks QQ forum.

I don't recall that question being asked before. Are there not tell-tale traced of where it's coming from?

It seems like it may be the crankshaft seal. Just wondering if it had been an issue for anyone else?
