Qashqai Model: Mk.1 Qashqai Facelift - J10b (2010–2013)

Post by Bonzo0101 »

Hi Guys, I bought a 2010 Qashqai+2 2010 and the guy I bought it off stated that both keys needed new batteries. I saw no problem with this and got them changed the next day, though none of the keys open the car using the buttons. That wasn't a big issue either, considering it unlocked by using the physical key component, though I've realised that when I'm unlocking my car (Again, with the key) it only unlocks/locks the drivers door. I've seen online that using the lock and unlock button simultaneously sends a signal to switch between unlocking all doors and unlocking only the drivers door, though this hasn't appeared to work for me, the indicators flash and that's it. The locking button inside the car works for all doors.

I'm at a loss of what to do, I'd rather not take it to Nissan and pay a bomb until I've exhausted all options. Thanks :)

Welcome to the forum.
I’m not sure I can help other than the stock - only use top quality batteries (Duracell or better)

2032 batt in key fob, it makes you wonder if the last owner knew about the door problem as he never put new batts in the key fobs
