Hello
I've got a problem with my car
It's a 2009 Qashqai, 2.0 Petrol, CVT, 4WD
I've had the problem since last winter, I've tried replacing different components throughout the year, but have not been able to locate the problem.
Whenever I try to start the car, when it's cold, the RPM jumps, not fluctuate, but jumps, for 2-5 seconds, then even outs and runs fine.
While the engine is still somewhat cold, and I put in Drive or reverse, it sounds like something is rattling, like the exhaust pipe or something.
Once the car is warm, it runs smooth and the car does not to struggle to start, if I turn it off.
I've recorded a video of the behaviour when I start the car,
I'm just starting the car, not pressing the gas or anything.
I've been able to live with the jumpy-rpm thing over the summer. But now, as the dude from G.O.T warned us all about, winter has come.
If the temperature is below freezing, it's a lottery everytime I try to start the car. Sometimes it gets jumpy and dies, and I have to try to restart it 2-10 times before finally getting it going.
I don't have a Nissan workshop remotely close to where I live, so I've taken it to a local workshop. They could not find any issues, since it does not throw an error code.
The actions I have taken this year, in terms of repair or component swap:
-Oil service
-Replaced camshaft position sensor
-Replaced MAF/intake air sensor
-Replaced crankshaft position sensor
-Replaced spark plugs.
Do anyone have any idea what might cause this?

Welcome to this forum
Let's hope someone can advise you - not encountered that problem previously myself.

I've changed the air filter, but not the fuel filter.
The rattling noise is only happening while the engine is cold, and I'm "taking off". Once the engine is warm, it is smooth and runs fine.
I've checked the heatshield and it's not the cause of the rattling.
Update:
When the weather is really cold, ~15 degree C, the car doesn't start at all. The starter turns, and if it ignites, it dies immediately.
The only fault code I get is P0340, camshaft position sensor. It only shows when this non-start in cold weather happens. Once I delete the error code and get it going, it does not come back.
Just to be sure, this has nothing to do with the battery, right?
Anyone have the slightest idea what might cause this behaviour?

Thanks for the response.
What I don't get, is why the camshaft position sensor would work fine in warm weather and not in cold weather. It's only when I get a no-start that the fault code pops up.
As for the battery, it's never been replaced. At least not since I purchased the car, and that was 2016.

Sounds to me as if the battery is in need of replacement!
