Cleaning leather dashboard

Hello from Greece,

I have the QQ N-Connecta J12 1.3 manual. I have it for one month now. It has, as they say, leather dashboard and I am curious how to clean it. I am asking because I have seen various products, like the autoglym ones, and watch cleaning tips but I am not 100% sure if they are safe.

Has anyone has the same car and how you clean it?

Hi Yannis, welcome to the Forum
Personally I wouldn't worry too much, if the leather is indeed leather a quick wipe over with soapy water, don't drown it though.
I usually wipe our cars "leather" with the micro fibre sponge after washing the car. Then rub a dry micro fibre towel over to dry it.
Most leather wrapped products today are actually dyed/painted then top coated with a flexible lacquer so don't go spending hard earned € on leather creams/wipes etc.
My other car is 20 years old, has a complete leather interior and I have never treated the leather, quick wipe over/dry and it still looks brand new, no cracks/fading and still soft and pliable.

I will use the microfiber as I do now. Maybe every 6 months I ll do a good bio cleaning inside for better results
