Remote activated tailgate stopped working

I have a 6 month old Qashqai epower and the power tailgate has stopped working when pushing the button on the dash or the key fob or using my foot ie remotely…. it will open using the button on the tailgate. Have tried both remotes and the “ on” position in settings has been selected ,it was working but suddenly stopped for no apparent reason. Any idea’s please before I have to take it to the dealer.

I haven’t experienced this with mine (yet !), so can’t offer any advice

Not heard of the issue before.

Up date !!!!! tailgate will close using ALL methods but will only rise when pressing button above no. plate. Rang dealer and they had no idea so will have to visit asap.

Problem solved , no thanks to the dealer or the manual, pressed and held both buttons ( on tailgate) for a few seconds it it appears to have reset it back to normal.
