EU Radar Checks

Anybody got caught ? Hopefully your have all read about these Checks in 21 EU Countries today. Normally here everyday is like a F1 Race, late on parade, late for the kindergarten or just late, but today was almost human 50 of 30 kms/hr Speed Limits were kept top. Just in Germany alone they have planned Radar Checks in 7000 places using 13000 Police planned for 18 hours, just think of the manpower being used today !. They caught here in 2013 / 83000 in 2014 / 93000 and now comes 2015.
Hopefully nobody has been caught, what is the effect with you ? - Dave

Well it is over and Back to Normal today. They caught over 91000 Drivers here and the worst was in KA¶ln in a 100km/h Speed limit. The Speed was 204km/h, result was a‚¬600 Fine / a 3 months ban, 2 points on his licence - Dave ?Y?‹

Do you not have speed checks normally in Germany then as it's just a normal day in the UK with fixed cameras in 1,000's of locations and mobile cameras moving around the counties roads everyday.

Kashqai, I do not think you read this topic correctly, this Action Day was not German related it was an EU Co-ordinated Action in 31 Countries. Of course here as everywhere are the mobile and fixed cameras - Dave

Sorry but Devon and Cornwall Constabulary had to commit there available resources to a fracas between two sheep farmers from Witheridge and we have no idea when normal policing will be resumed (if ever).

Didnt see a single one in UK at all so I can understand Kashqais comment above. Really, it was just a normal day , no extra patrols, speed gun traps or anything.
