Just thought I'd point out some of the items I've noticed which are different on the J11B N-Connecta QQ so far.

The N-Tec I had previously (2014) didn't have some of these features and Nissan may have upgraded the spec in later versions 🤔
  • The around-view monitor now includes MOD (moving object detection). This was only available on the Tekna back in 2014.
  • The passenger and driver's sun visor now include lights:

  • As noted previously, the wiper arm blade doesn't need to be set to the park position to keep it from catching the bonnet
  • The design of the oil dipstick for the 1.2 litre petrol engine hasn't changed!
  • Nissan have removed the Apple Siri eyes-free feature (and I would imagine OK Google) so you can't press the phone button on the steering wheel for voice activation. This was pointed out by the dealer.
  • Some of the warning beeps are slightly louder and different.
  • The warning icons are now spaced apart:

  • The battery is still manufactured by FIAMM, although I didn't have a problem with the one in my old QQ. Hopefully this will behave itself too!

You think they would have put a cover over the engine as the diesels have to tidy up as it looks a mess.....

Yes, it would look better with a cover. The engine bay will soon be full of sand and bits of sea shells in a week or two - one of the perils of living near the coast 😕

A quick follow-up:

  • The front door pockets/bins are a lot narrower now.
  • There's no button in the roofliner to temporarily disable the alarm - it's now an option in the Vehicle Information Display:

There's now a full complement of illuminated switches for the driver, front passenger and rear passengers.

I seem to have lost the Auto Headlight setting (where you could specify whether the headlights come on early or later) and the High Beam Assist* 🤔

* looking at the owner's manual, high beam assist comes on automatically in dark conditions and the headlight switch is set to <AUTO>. Perhaps it wasn't dark enough? Pushing the lever forward just illuminated the road ahead and dazzled oncoming drivers. I'm sure there used to be a menu option within the Vehicle Information Display?

Totally agree. Although most people would never check for such things. I've had cars 15 years ago with illuminated switches, Nissan are either stupid or penny pinching. Makes me want to retro to lighted switches, but i wont.

There is one in my 2014 J11 too ;)
