Due to increased demands for the Nissan SUV‘s - QQ, X-Trail & Murano, Nissan Russia in St.Petersburg is implementing a 2nd Production Shift. It would be nice if the Murano was available in Europe also - Dave

I live in Russia right now, and can confirm that an uprated suspension is a must have! The country is huge for its population and workforce, so the roads can't be maintained that well... Add to that the fact that the roads in winter are covered with snow and sand (so that slippery ice surfaces can't form) and that water freezing underground can crack roads, and you'll get why a SUV with a reinforced suspension is a must have!
Somehow, old Soviet cars keep on driving and managing these conditions since the 70s and 80s, but they have tank DNA so it doesn't count.

Nissan Russia has started Production of the QQ - Dave
Nissan has celebrated the start of production of the Nissan Qashqai at its plant in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as it brings the latest version of its best-selling crossover to the Russian market. The announcement comes just months after the new X-Trail was launched for production at the plant in October 2018.
