Air conditioning

This is our second Nissan qashqai, it’s a 2014 sve 360 spec. With the hot weather now in Ireland we are finding our air conditioning useless, When you turn it to low and A/C on it blows the same temperature air as on 16 degrees with no A/C on, any idea what the problem might be? Thanks in advance

Firstly Welcome. This is a known problem on the early QQ’s and the usual problem for a 2014 was a faulty Condenser, known by Nissan. I have attached just one recent post for you to look at, but please go into the “Search” Area for this subject and there is more. A lot of reading but it should set you in the right direction - Dave :D
We have been setting our temp immediately down to 17*C as it at present over 30*C here and it is Cool

See my responses on the other topic you've created. It's not "very hard" to find places who will service the new gas - it's easy!!!! Any Nissan dealer will do it for starters! And even Halfords! But you have to pay for it!

I was pleased to see a local independent garage that does my wife's car, now offers AC servicing
with new gas too. So the stranglehold of the Dealers seems to be weakening.

Hi Gel, that is good to hear as the Std is now the new Gas R1234yf and the Independents have to keep up or go out of business. As you mentioned perhaps the competition will bring the prices down or at the very least there will be more options - Dave 👍

Hi everyone!
I’m not sure if this is the right place but my AC is making a whistling sound. What that possible could mean?
