Hi from a new owner

Hi guys, I collect my qashqai tekna plus 1.6dig-t 160 2017 on Monday. Coming from a 5 pot focus st which I had for 4 years and an x trail before it.
Looking forward to getting to know you all. Any thoughts on the model I've gone for?

Hi Simon, welcome to the Forum. I am also interested in this model with the 160ps motor. Have you got the Manual or DCT Auto Box and with the IVI Entertainment or even the PRO-Pilot or are these still not available. Just interested in what is actually available as a delivered QQ - Thanks Dave

Hi Dave and thanks. It's a manual obviously with leather, pan roof, cameras etc. Not the pro pilot though.
It's a 67 plate so just over a year old but a high spec was wanted really. I do 10-12k miles a year, quite a few short journeys so wanted the petrol. It goes ok but not compared to a 300bhp focus lol.

I think you need to speak to SVM for some Tuning Modifications, OK this is a J10 but impressive and just shows what can be done if you have money and can actually use it

the 2 ltr. engine takes forever to warm.
I'm not a fan of remote start but i tried three different times for the max 10 minutes when our ambient temperature was about 0 05 -2 deg C. it didn't move the needle from cold.
Then I entered the auto and drove 6 to 9 km before it reached almost normal (by the indicator) ????

Hi, which country do you live in as you mention you have a J11B QQ with a 2,0L Motor and Remote Start which we do not get. Could it be US, Australia (but you mention Kms) for example because possibly the question is not easy to answer for us in and around the EU. But I could be wrong - Dave

I am having problems with sat nav .the map is all over the place and when I set off it keeps telling me to get on a digitised road when I am on one.could it be the sd card as it is quite old.i have had the car from new and only done 20000 miles.i don't want to risk buying an up to date card in case it dosnt solve the problem

a quick search of the forum should bring up plenty of posts about SD Cards for Sat Navs.
