I've already connected my phone via CarPlay. That's working as the dealer promises.

The A-IVI is included also as far as i can see from the photo that you posted both mine and yours (photo) have no sd card slot.
That enforces me to believe that i can install gps app in a custom mode.

Good luck in your search. But at least you can use CarPlay for onscreen satnav

As you can see from the pictures below ( those are in Greek Language, but i think that some points are easily readable and understandable from a person that doesn't know the Greek language), there is an option "Time GPS", an information page that contains the "NAVAPP" keyword and two more pictures that have some extra info for the software version and the updates of it.

I found out that the only way to do the update is to use a usb flash drive.
But i need to know the format of the usb (fat32, ntfs, mac os journaled, etc..), the files that have to be included in the usb that i'm gonna use and the folder structure that will be used in order to be readable correctly from the device.

Can anyone help me to figure these out and try to do an update of the software?

Nissan Connect is not under open source license. Even if NC is running on Android OS it uses proprietary BOSCH licensed software. You can find more information here:

What I found till now?? Is that my infotainment has no gps antenna connected and that it’s code is : aivip32r0. Is there any chance if I plug-in a new one gps antenna to reflash the unit and install the Navi app and assign it to a specific key??

Does any one have the new infotainment with Navi app todo the comparison and find any difference that will help me to figure out what is going on?

Any help is really appreciated!!
