Here is the next Proposed New Design of the Nissan Rogue (X-Trail) that is again beginning to appear in the Auto Mags. There are 3 attachments with the relevant details to read. Another similar design to the new proposed QQ design but pleasing - Dave
“Based on the size of these two prototypes, this clearly looks like the compact Rogue and not the smaller, sub-compact Rogue Sport. The side profile looks pretty close to the current model but the new front fascia looks a lot like the Nissan Juke that was revealed in Europe last year.
This new Rogue will likely feature similar front end styling, with a dual headlight design flanking Nissan's signature V-Motion grille. These spy shots don't reveal any glimpses of the interior but previous run-ins with Rogue test mules have revealed a larger infotainment display, new electronic shifter design, and digital displays to replace the analog gauges.”

Here it is the all new US 2021 Nissan Rogue set to go on sale in the fall of 2020 - Dave
When Nissan began designing the 2021 Rogue, its best-selling model in the industry's largest segment, the company focused on delivering functionality, flexibility, technology and safety aimed at simply making life easier.
The all-new Rogue has the most standard safety technologies in its class1, and is the latest Nissan model to feature Nissan Safety Shield 360 standard across the entire lineup. Nissan Safety Shield 360 technologies include Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking. The 2021 Rogue also offers 10 standard supplemental air bags and extended crumple zones to help protect occupants.

The new Rogue has the one feature I would like in the new Qashqai: “wireless charging and wireless Apple CarPlay”.
Wireless Apple CarPlay seems to be the new norm now - it’s standard on the new VW Golf Mk 8 and also the brand new Honda Jazz. Audi, Mini and BMW offer it on some of their models, I believe.
I understand it’s more difficult to implement wireless Android Auto because of the multiple makes of handsets offered by different manufacturers, so tethering via a USB cable will still be necessary if you have an Android phone

Sandgrounder, regarding the “Wireless Charging” I also was interested in the same or a similiar System available in the existing Rogue also, but unfortunately it was not achieveable. I did discuss this with our Dealer, but in the end ended up with a ”VANMASS” System which installs in the Air Vents with Auto Closing blocking the air flow I would say very slightly - Dave

“The all-new Rogue is one of the most advanced Nissan SUVs ever, representing one of the most comprehensive model redesigns in Nissan history. When the all-new 2021 Rogue crossover arrives in Nissan US showrooms in late October, it will offer great value with a wide range of standard equipment” - Dave

It's surprising isn't it that the third seat row has been deleted? That was the major difference with the Rogue Sport. Now they're just two slightly differently sized versions of the same thing?
I hired an X-Trail in Australia last year and it was VERY like driving a Qashqai. Size didn't seem that much different.
