Hi @incipient thank you for providing the pinouts. There are a few pages of pinouts for various models of audio system I assume like:
JRNWD1429GB
JRNWD1430GB
JRNWD1431GB

And so on. How do I match these reference numbers to one of the numbers I previously provided like 7 513 750 220 or 259154ET1A ?

Yes. After retrofit you must rewrite your keys again. That's all, that you must do. Dealer can do it easy.

By the way, I also have one headunit without sd. if anyone is interested, I can sell with shipping from Poland.

Look at your connectors and compare wire locations and colors. and in the new generation of the head unit there is only one option. you can’t mix it up.

I have just found some additional information on my head unit here. What is the match to the JRNWD numbers ? I know you mentioned to just look at the connectors but I would like to be certain before I try anything on the new unit

Thank you @incipient! Is this connector a direct fit into the new unit or will any modifications be necessary? I am very concerned about the CAN-H and CAN-L pins on M49

No. Direct connection fails. Head units have different connectors and you need to make an adapter. I ordered connectors from China and made it myself, looking at the connector diagrams from the old and new heads. You can look it in my link a few pages ago.
